Where does the time go?

Wow, so Uni is done. The boards are painted. The work is printed (just). And there's still nothing new on the site. Until now. Visit the my creations section of the site for a couple more campaigns from my final year. Check out my 'Make Him Pay' campaign for the new Gloss GHD straighteners (pretty) and my 'Abolutely Milk' campaign for.... milk (funny). Don't miss my starring role in the first milk ad.

I've still got a couple more campaigns to go up but I don't want to spoil you too much. Stay tuned for my super-secret pipeline projects as well - coming as soon as I have something tangible to show rather than scraps of paper and misfiring synapses.

Yo' Mama

Sorry it's taken so long to get anything tangible onto the site but the wait is over. I've uploaded my entry for this year's YCN awards into the my creations section of the site. It's a campaign to launch Wagamama's new takeaway service affectionately titled "Eat-Out". My campaign is based around the idea that now anywhere can be your wagamama restaurant. Check it out and don't forget to let me know what you think via the blog.

I'd like to make a start on the brain candy section next so stay tuned.

So this is the first post at revelliondotorgdotuk, I guess I should introduce myself. My name is Dan Revell, i'm a 24 year old creative in my final year of advertising at UCLAN in Preston.

I've put up this site first as an online portfolio of my work and also as a place for people to rid themselves of the dreaded creative block with some cool stuff i've collected from the interweb.

Except it's all a bit bare at the moment. Sorry about that.

Tough uni schedules and getting to grips with the design of the site are paining me at the moment but check back to this blog for more updates to the site.
